Pharmacy Submission Guide

To ensure your pharmacy listing is processed quickly and accurately, please follow these formatting guidelines when submitting your information. If you do not follow this guide, it will take longer to process your pharmacy

 

Example of a Perfect Submission

This submission contains all required information in the correct format and will be processed quickly.

 

Pharmacy Name
 

What we need: Your official business/pharmacy name as registered
 

Format correctly:

• ✅ Good: "Pharmacy Byron Bay"

• ✅ Good: "TerryWhite Chemmart Suburb Name"

• ✅ Good: "Priceline Pharmacy"
   

Avoid:

• ❌ Avoid: "pharmacy byron bay" (all lowercase)

• ❌ Avoid: "PHARMACY BYRON BAY" (all caps)

• ❌ Avoid: "PHRM Byron" (abbreviations)
   

Address
 

What we need: Complete street address including suburb, state, and postcode

Format correctly:
 

• ✅ Good: "123 Main Street, Sydney NSW 2000"

• ✅ Good: "Unit 4/56 High Street, Melbourne VIC 3000"

• ✅ Good: "Shop 12/78 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000"
   

Address formatting rules:

• Include unit/shop numbers if applicable

• Use proper street type abbreviations: St, Rd, Ave, Dr, Cres, Pl

• Always include state abbreviation: NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, NT, ACT

• Include 4-digit postcode

• Use title case (first letter of each word capitalised)
   

Avoid:

• ❌ Avoid: "123 main st sydney nsw" (all lowercase, missing postcode)

• ❌ Avoid: "123 Main Street" (incomplete - missing suburb/state/postcode)

• ❌ Avoid: "Sydney" (too vague)
   

Phone Number
 

What we need: Primary contact number for your pharmacy

Australian format examples:
 

• ✅ Mobile: "04XX XXX XXX"

• ✅ Landline: "(02) 1234 5678"
   

We automatically format these, but for best results:

• Include the area code for landlines

• Start mobile numbers with 04

• You can include or exclude brackets and spaces - we'll standardise it
   

Avoid:

• ❌ Avoid: "+61 2 1234 5678" (we'll convert this, but direct format is better)

• ❌ Avoid: "02-1234-5678" (dashes - use spaces instead)
   

 Email Address
 

What we need: Primary email contact for your pharmacy
 

Format correctly:

• ✅ Good: "info@yourpharmacy.com.au"
   

Tips:

• Use your pharmacy's official email address

• Avoid personal email addresses where possible

• We automatically convert to lowercase
   

Website (Optional)
 

What we need: Your pharmacy's official website URL
 

Format correctly:

• ✅ Good: www.yourpharmacy.com.au

• ✅ Good: yourpharmacy.com.au
   

Tips:

• You can include or exclude "http://" or "https://" - we'll add it automatically

• Include "www." if your site uses it

• Use your main pharmacy website, not social media pages
   

Quick Processing Tips
 

✅ Do this for fastest processing:

• Use official, complete business names

• Include all required information

• Double-check spelling and postcodes

• Use consistent formatting
   

❌ Avoid these delays:

• Incomplete addresses (missing suburb/state/postcode)

• Informal business names or abbreviations

• Missing required fields (name, address, phone for new additions)

• Incorrect operation selection
